Holy Week

Children in Key Stages 1 and 2 led us through the events of Holy Week this week with thoughtful reflections.

Year 1 and 2 shared with us the joyful celebrations of Jesus in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

Year 3 and 4 shared with us the Jesus as 'servant king' washing the feet of his disciples and sharing with them the Last Supper before he was put to death.

Years 5 and 6 shared with us the events of Good Friday when Jesus was put to death through the Stations of the Cross and reflections for us in our world today.

Rosary Challenge

Tho months of October and May are dedicated to Our Lady, the mother of Jesus.  During these months we are encouraged to pray the Rosary and remember different stories from the life of Jesus.  We are taking part in the Mark 10 Mission Rosary Challenge and each week in school during May and October the children have an opportunity to pray the Rosary at lunchtime.

Each class also has a week when they all take home a Rosary bag to share with their families and reflect on their thoughts and prayers.  Some of our Mini Vinnies prepared the bags for everyone to take home and share.
